Established by Bruce Artwick and Stu Moment in Los Angeles in 1977 and incorporated in 1978. subLOGIC was a reference to the logic circuits Bruce Artwick had built for the PDP 11 as a technician at Digital Computer Lab (DCL) previously. subLOGIC was purchased by Sierra in January 1996 and ceased to exist as a a brand name.
