NOTES

Notes
The software arm of Argus Press, a British publisher of newspapers and 1980s computer magazines, was established in the early 1980s and developed software for various 8-bit platforms. The software arm declared bankruptcy in 1987 shortly after releasing their one-and-only 16-bit game THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, but not before transferring software copyrights/licenses and company assets elsewhere prior to liquidation. In late 1987, ex-Argus Managing Director Stephen Hall formed Grandslam Entertainment out of the ashes of what was formerly the software arm of Argus Press.
