HINTS & TIPS
------------

After passing the TAXI screen you are faced with various options.

   POLICE STATION:

In the Police Station you can see which gangsters are wanted along

with their name and description. On the wanted board you will see a

picture of a gangster. Click on this and you will get a close up of it

displaying the gangster's name, description and what he's wanted

for. Make a note of this info. for later on. Click button to exit.

   LOCAL BAR:

If a gangster is in town, he will usually be seen in the local pub.

See SHOOTOUT. In the bar you can either leave by clicking on the door,

or go and play pontoon by clicking on the small icon at the right-hand

   side of the screen.

   PONTOON:

You can make more money by playing Pontoon. Normal rules apply, you

and the dealer must get as close to a score of 21 as possible. You can

twist, stick or raise the bet by moving the mouse pointer over the options,

and clicking on them when they're highlighted. Click on EXIT to leave and go

   back to the bar.

   PAPERSTAND:

The big boss has sent his henchmen after you and their whereabouts

can be found by reading the local paper. Click on the paperboy and

ask him for the paper, bearing in mind that each copy costs a pound.

The paper will explain where the henchmen were last seen.

When a gangster has committed a crime, his face will appear here and his

details in the police station on a wanted poster.

   GUN STORE:

This option leaves you stood outside the gun store. Note that if the

henchmen are in town, then they will appear here and shoot you.

Click on the door to enter the gun store, or on the road to leave.

Once you're in the store, you can buy guns and ammo by clicking on the

icons on the shelves. Note that you can only buy rifles, magnums, bullets

and grenades. Your money appears in the bottom left-hand corner, which

is decreased by the price of the item bought. Press the left mouse button

to buy the items or the right mouse button to leave.

There is also a hidden Food Store, which works the same as the Gun Store.

The food on offer is truffles, hamburgers, pop drink and fags!!!!

   BIG BOSS:

You can only go here if you have all twelve pieces of the map.

There are other places you can go to as well. Note that if you click

on the drawing of a character, you can have a chat with them. Some

give you information while others just talk silly. Move the mouse over

the text to say something to that character and click on the text to

   see their answer.

   SHOOTOUT:

As mentioned before, when you enter the pub there will sometimes be a

gangster in there. If one is found, then you will be given the option to

challenge him. If you decide to challenge, you will be asked who you think

he is. Get the name wrong and you will be arrested for murder should you

shoot him. The message before will give you his description and you must

name him according to his description. So if you think Sean Silly is the

man who limps with his left leg, then select his name.

Once the name is selected, you go to the back of the pub to face each

other. Wait till he draws and then press either the left mouse button to

shoot him if you have bullets, or the right mouse button to blow him up

if you have grenades........you only get one chance. After shooting him

take him to the police, who will either reward you or throw you in jail

depending on whether you got his name right or not.
