[2] CENTER COURT 97 / BLITZ TENNIS is an enhanced update to CENTER COURT, which retains the old titlescreen of that game in OCS/ECS mode but features a new titlescreen in AGA mode and more. The game is succeeded by the previously unreleased CENTER COURT 2.
[3] Min. Requirements: 1MB ram.
Recommended: AGA chipset (game will auto-detect AGA machines to activate enhanced graphics and features such as 4-player joystick adapter gameplay for doubles mode).
[4] Game features savegame support, and also supports 4-player joystick adapters for gameplay (i.e. doubles matches) [A1200/4000 only].
Additionally, enhanced features include a new titlescreen and a doubles mode for 4 players, which are only available when playing the game on A1200/A4000.
TRIVIA: In 1995/96, BLITZ TENNIS / CENTER COURT 97 was originally set to be endorsed by former U.S. tennis champion Andre Agassi and go by the highly original title ANDRE AGASSI TENNIS (see advert). The license seemingly fell through, however, and the game was named instead after the coding language in which it was written (i.e. Blitz Basic 2). Furthermore, a CD32 version that was originally planned for release never materialised either.
