Established Gemini Electronics in Manchester, UK in 1981, which morphed into English Software in 1983. From 1983-87, Morris conceived and/or produced several 8-bit games (C64, Atari XE/XL, Spectrum, Amstrad) and 16-bit titles on the Atari ST, Amiga and PC.
After the closure of English Software, Morris continued in the games industry as a manager and/or audio/speech producer at Creative Materials, Sony Psygnosis Liverpool, AllintheGame and Audio Factory Ltd.
In early 2009, Philip Morris branched away from the games industry to pursue a career in advertising as a freelance project manager and marketing professional.
