[2] EVIL'S DOOM SE was intended to be a deluxe version of its commercially unreleased predecessor EVIL'S DOOM. Publisher Titan scheduled the game for release in 1998/99, but reportedly didn't publish it because there were too many bugs in the last beta version they received from the developers (e.g. inability to open doors because keys do not exist).
One major bug in particular, where the final enemy is rendered immortal and the game impossible to complete, no doubt dealt the fatal knockout blow to the game's chances of being published following the developer's departure from the ailing Amiga market. Moreover, the game was written in 100% assembly language (ASM), which apparently was not conducive to the graphics card support originally promised by Titan.
